Fire opening is standard and will accommodate most inset gas and electric fires.

Hearth
Grey riven slate concreted to 2" thick

Splayed inserts and hearths are slabbed with lightweight concrete and steel reinforcing rods. The interior slab will transfer heat from the fire for a more efficient fireplace.

Cast Iron Fireplace Inserts

Cast iron fireplace inserts are available for gas or electric fire, and with the addition of a solid fuel kit can be used to burn solid fuel.

Two types are available

Decorative tiled cast iron inserts are available in a choice of finishes inluding full polished, half polished and black. They also require a set of tiles which are available in a choice of colours and designs.

Arches are also available in a choice of finishes and both types are suitable for gas fires, electric fires and solid fuel fires.

Solid fuel kits including grate, ash pan with handle and damper to close off when not in use are available for all types.

Decorative Fireplace Tiles

Decorative tiles consist of 5 tiles per panel and are supplied as a pair for cast iron fireplace inserts.

Can also be used to create a tiled back panel and tiled hearth

Fire Surround Colour options

Having a full industrial spray shop and polishing facility onsite, and are able to offer a wide range of colour finishes.

Wooden fire surrounds are firstly stained to your chosen colour, sealed with clear lacquer, sanded, coloured to the correct shade and finally fire surrounds are top coated with a 20% sheen hard wearing lacquer. This process seals the timber and enables simple cleaning of your new fire surround and prolongs the life of the timber which should last for decades.

We offer a colour matching service to colour match your existing furniture.

A free sample service is available for all our wooden fire surrounds.
