Before I forget….. I would like to say a big thank you for the brilliant job you did in making our fire surround. It looks great. We very much appreciate the attention to detail you did in copying Pete’s mock up.
Pete is very rarely happy with any work that he gets someone to do for him BUT on this occasion, he was!! So, that says a lot for your workmanship!!
Just wanted to drop you a note to say how pleased we are with the fire surround. It finishes off the fireplace and room perfectly.

Dear Dave,
It's been a while since you delivered our new oak fire surround, but installation was delayed by the need to redecorate the entire room. Fortunately, this is now complete and we thought you might like to see the finished article comprising surround, Westmoreland slate hearth & slips and stove. Certainly, we are absolutely delighted with how well everything goes together but, in particular, with the surround and slate. Should you decide to make the fire surround one of your standard designs, we would both be absolutely delighted; my wife the more so if you were to call it the "Rutland" surround!

Twyford solid oak fire surround

Received the oak fire surround around two weeks ago delivered by your driver who left it my living room. This fire surround is heavy; I needed help moving it....
We had chosen the Twyford solid oak fire surround because of its stepped design and must say the quality of workmanship and finish is second to none. Finished with just clear lacquer makes it easy to clean and with your colour sample service we managed to match our existing oak furniture.
We had been looking for an oak fireplace for a long time and were thankful of finding you on the internet, well worth travelling from Bristol to Nottingham to take a look.
It's true what they say, you get what you pay for and we are very happy customers.

Received our new oak mantel shelf yesterday and it looks fantastic. Thank you. I hope you did not think I was chasing you about delivery. I know that it can be a problem because of where we live. If that was the cause of the problem I was going to suggest that I pick it up at Carlisle where we were meeting relatives 2 weeks ago and again next weekend, or you could have delivered to relatives in Yorkshire, I would have collected.
Anyway, thank you for your help, it is great.

Well it is almost installed! This morning the electrician is coming to put a new plug on the wall behind the unit, so there will be no visible cable. Then of course, I will have the walls painted. I am absolutely thrilled with the Chelsea fireplace, and the really marvellous craftsmanship which has gone into it. The fire surround is just beautiful, and everything arrived in perfect condition. It looks absolutely superb and is a real enhancement to our living room. It looks even better than we envisaged it when we browsed your selection to select it.
